После окончания института я хотела бы устроиться государственным адвокатом, чтобы набраться необходимого опыта, после чего устроиться в компанию «Регион- сервис», потому что это крупная и респектабельная фирма по предоставлению юридических услуг. В этой организации возможен как профессиональный, так и личностный рост. Здесь можно получить неоценимый опыт в области юриспруденции. Работая в «Регион- сервис» можно работать бок о бок с лучшими юристами страны и области. Я хотела бы заниматься как административными, так и уголовными делами. После того как я наберусь достаточно опыта и познакомлюсь со всеми нюансами работы адвоката, хотела бы заняться собственной частной практикой и открыть свою адвокатскую контору. Работая адвокатом можно знакомиться с множеством интересных и влиятельных людей, а также
зарабатывать хорошие деньги. Так же я хотела бы получить второе высшее образование, экономическое. Задание 2

The Police
One of the most British institutions is the British policeman, with odd helmet reminiscent of the topees that Europeans used to wear in India. To an Englishman a motorised policeman with a flat- topped had looks somehow a little less reassuring than one with a helmet.
The policeman and woman of today need a great variety of new professionals skills to deal with modern crime and with the other problems which afflict life in Britain no less than other countries. Moving mostly in cars rather than on foot, the police are less obviously in contact with the public than in the past. When going about their normal work the police do not carry guns: they themselves prefer to be unarmed.
The police come into the news from time to time when they have to deal with large- scale riots and other breaches of public other.
Most people have a positive attitude to the police, and opinion polls have indicated that there is much
public sympathy with men and women who have to deal with mob violence. There is formal system through which complains of police behavior may be investigated, but in the late 1980s it was found that these procedures had not prevented some serious failures in the system of administering justice. Some Irish people had been convicted of a terrorist offence on the basis of confessions which had been improperly extracted from them, and the truth was discovered only after they had spent several years in prison.
There were other cases too in which there were grounds for suspecting that the police had persuaded people to confess to crimes which they had not committed.
Meanwhile, in the 1980s the central government increased its expenditures on the London police as well as its grants towards the cost of local police forces. The size of police forces was increased, and the pay of the police was increased more generously than that of many others workers in the public sector. But all this expenditure to promote “law and order” has not stopped the growth of crime."
